How it works

You talk. Meal BFF handles the week

A few answers. Then it tells you what to eat — not another recipe to scroll.

Tell it about you

Who you cook for, how you eat, what's in the kitchen. A few answers. No account.

It tells you the week

A full week, not a recipe book. Swap any meal.

It hands you the list

One grocery list, grouped the way the store is laid out. Check it off and go.

Like a friend

It already knows how you eat

Budget, kitchen, diet, the foods you skip. A friend would keep all of that in their head.

The week, already decided

Not a blank planner. Seven meals. Swap anything you don't feel like.

It knows what you can spend

Tight, balanced or comfortable. The week stays in range.

Only food you can cook

No oven? Air fryer? One pan? It won't suggest a roast you can't make.

The list is ready for the store

One list, grouped by store section, rounded to real packages. No homework.

It eats how you eat

Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, high protein or low carb.

Allergies stay out

Milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy or sesame. Those meals never show up.

Foods you love, foods you skip

Tell it once. Mushrooms never come back if you hate them.

Whatever you're in the mood for

Comfort, Mediterranean, Asian-inspired, quick and easy or batch cooking.

Your kitchen

Cooks the way you actually cook.

Stove, oven, air fryer, slow cooker — tell it what's in the kitchen. It will not send you a roast you can't make.

Stays on budget

Set your weekly spend. Meal BFF plans within it.

From tight weeks to comfortable ones, it builds a week that fits — with a running total so the till is not a surprise.

Every penny counts

Beans, eggs, pasta and the cheaper cuts. Still a real week of food — just as many meals as the money allows.

Grocery list

Meal BFF even writes the list.

The week becomes one grocery list, grouped the way the store is laid out. No recipe-book scavenger hunt.

  • Rounded to real package sizes
  • Pantry staples kept separate

The food

The week looks like food.

Hundreds of meals already have their own plate. Same camera, food that matches the recipe — not a spreadsheet.

Good to know

Stuff people ask

Do I need to create an account?

No. Tell it a few things and it tells you the week. No email, password or profile.

Is Meal BFF free?

Yes. The Meal BFF app is free to download and use on iPhone and Android.

How does the budget work?

Pick tight, balanced or comfortable. It builds a week that fits, with real package sizes in mind — not a spreadsheet.

Do I have to pick a grocery store?

No. Meal BFF uses flexible budget tiers instead of one store's shelf prices, so the list works at Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, Costco or wherever you shop.

What if I only have a stovetop or an air fryer?

Tell it what you have. Every meal is something you cook on a stove, in the oven, or in an air fryer — no mug meals.

Can it handle diets and allergies?

Yes. Pick a diet, then the allergens you need out: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame. Those come from the ingredient list, not a guess on the recipe name. Still read the labels on what you buy.

Can I skip foods I hate and get more of what I like?

Yes. Mark foods you love and foods you avoid. A friend would not put mushrooms in your week if you hate them.

Is this just another recipe app?

No. You answer a few things and Meal BFF tells you what to eat this week. Tap a meal if you want the recipe. The point is the week, not a cookbook.

Let Meal BFF tell you what to eat this week.

A few answers. A week of meals. One grocery list. Less planning.
